Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Ops Acceleration collects through this website, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Information you give us
Every form on this site is optional. If you choose to use one, we collect what you type into it. Depending on the form, that can include:
- Your name, email address, phone number and company
- What you tell us about your operation — revenue range, timeline, budget, the functions you need help with, and anything you write in a message field
- For operators applying to the bench: your location, availability, years of experience, the functions you have run, your LinkedIn URL, and the resume file you upload
- For owners pitching a business: what the business does and its revenue range
A resume is a document about a named person. If you would rather not upload one, email us instead and send only what you are comfortable sharing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: the pages you view, the site or search that referred you, and general device and browser details. We use it to understand which pages are useful and which are not. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and, if it goes further, to scope and deliver the work
- To assess operator applications and match them to engagements
- To send the newsletter, if you asked for it — every email has an unsubscribe link
- To keep the forms working and block automated abuse
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
Who else processes it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do rely on service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
- DiscoverWorthy — hosts this site, and receives, stores and notifies us of form submissions and site analytics
- Cloudflare — delivers the site and provides bot protection on the forms
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces, which means Google receives the request for those files
- Microsoft — if you book a call, the appointment is created on our Outlook calendar and a confirmation is emailed to you
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick a conversation up where it left off. Resumes are kept while you are on the operator bench. Ask us to delete either at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to ask for a copy, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. You have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you are welcome to confirm that with us.
To make a request, email hello@opsacceleration.com with what you would like us to do. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which usually means replying from the address you originally contacted us on.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page. If the change is significant we will say so on the site rather than expect you to notice.
