These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover an engagement with us — that is governed by whatever we sign together, and a signed agreement takes precedence over anything written here.
What this site is
This site describes what we do and gives you ways to start a conversation. Nothing on it is an offer to enter into an engagement, and submitting a form does not create one. We may decline any inquiry.
The estimator is an estimate
The savings estimator returns a modeled figure from the inputs you give it and published benchmarks. It has not seen your operation. It is deliberately capped, because we do not believe larger numbers without walking a floor first. Treat the output as a starting point for a conversation, not a forecast, a valuation, or a promise of a result. Do not make an investment, hiring or financing decision on it alone.
Nothing here is professional advice
The articles, guides and tools on this site are general information about operations practice. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting or safety advice, and they are not tailored to your business. If a decision carries real consequences, take advice from someone who knows your specific circumstances.
What you send us
Please do not send confidential information through a web form. Anything you submit is handled under our privacy policy, but a form is not a secure channel, and submitting one does not put us under a confidentiality obligation. If you need one, ask and we will sign an NDA before you send anything sensitive.
Our material
The content on this site — writing, diagrams, tools and brand marks — is ours. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and share a link. Republishing it as your own, or reusing the tools commercially, needs our written permission first.
Availability
We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee either. Content can go out of date, and features can be unavailable while we change them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything published on it.

Where we link to another site we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control it and we are not responsible for what it does.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California will have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
